Mr. Tanikawa is seconded from Marubeni Corporation and is involved in the sourcing, acquisition, and oversight of new and existing investments. Prior to joining Branford in 2026, Mr. Tanikawa worked at iSigma Capital Corporation as an Associate in the Buyout Investment Group, where he was involved in the sourcing, acquisition, and oversight of new and existing investments in Japan. Before iSigma Capital, Mr. Tanikawa worked at Marubeni Corporation, where he managed LP portfolio performance and valuation monitoring across domestic and international funds while supporting portfolio companies through Marubeni’s global network. Mr. Tanikawa graduated from the Faculty of Law, Department of Political Science at Keio University.
